Survivor: Japan is the first installment of Kolby's Survivor Series. This season was notable for Matt (Survivornerd) dominating the game until the end. It was also Demi's (demikol) first game, who would later appear in season 2. Demi and Joshua had a tight alliance, and Demi eventually sacrificed herself to keep him in the game. The season ended with Matt (Survivornerd) defeating Bobby (Bklimas) in a 5-0 vote. This season also featured Hidden Immunity Idol hidden on a 'Idol Grid' of 50 numbers, which castaways could guess each day to have a chance at the Hidden Immunity Idol.
Blurb[]
In the year 30,000 BC the Ainu people inhabited Rural Japan. History will repeat itself once again and here, 12 castaways will find themselves settling in the Japanese Archipelagos. They will battle their way to the end, until one of them will be crowned the first ever Sole Survivor. Will you become a warrior or will you fall on your sword?
14 Days, 12 Castaways, 1 Survivor!
Production[]
The first season of Kolby's Survivor premiered March 10th, 2016 and ended at the live reunion on March 23rd, 2016.
Twists[]
Hidden Immunity Idols[]
At the beginning of the game, one hidden immunity idol was placed at each camp. Once per day, tribemates could guess a selected number between 1-30 on their tribe's idol board. Under one number, the idol is hidden. Come merge the Idol Boards will merge themselves into one, with an additional ten slots.
Idol Clues[]
After a challenge the winning tribe has to give a player from the loosing tribe a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. If they can not agree on a certain player Random.Org will decide for them.
Tribe Swap[]
After the forth castaway was eliminated from the game the tribes were swapped by RANDOM.ORG into brand new tribes, mixing and shaking up alliances.
